The Perception on Gender Stereotype among Students in Malaysian Public Universities

Gender stereotype is a social practice that can be found across the world including in Malaysia. The study aims to examine perceptions of students from Malaysian Public Universities towards gender stereotype, for it has been experienced not only working environment but unfortunately started campus or might earlier. primary data was collected using self-administered questionnaire which distributed 665 respondents via an online survey. were chosen by convenience multistage clustered sampling technique among various public institutions higher education Many them are UiTM with 30.4% and lowest UMT UNIMAP 1.2% each. quantitative method applied analyse SPSS Version 26.0. descriptively analysed determine level knowledge compliance decision. This students’ on vary based their personal experiences life background. These findings discussed relation culture, religion, social, norms context as multi-religious ethnic society.
